Diamonds are Forever

Can't believe we've already been engaged for a whopping seven months. Amazing how fast time flies and how much can change in seven months.

Thinking back to our engagement day makes me smile from the inside out. We went for what I thought was a "photo shoot to add to her portfolio" for my (now) future sister-in-law. After taking about an hour and half of shots around the Trolley Museum, Craig said he would grab the 50 lens out of the bag. Amanda with Amanda Tauro Photography distracted me by having me strike a poke, and then he got down on one knee...

That day was perfect in every way possible, and I'm beyond grateful for everyone that was able to be a part of it. "A casual shoot" turned into our beautiful engagement portfolio. A special thanks to Amanda & Eric for their assistance in helping Craig slam dunk it!

Months later and the generosity of Tauro Photography made it possible for me to enter the photography world. Needless to say, I'm LOVING IT! So many things I love about it - but easily at the top of the list is the personal connection with clients and the ability to create an everlasting keepsake for them to cherish - forever

Today, I reflected back at my forever...

Mikala & Tim Engagement Fun I

Introducing the future Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo! I had the pleasure of hanging out with them for our engagement shoot. It was wonderful capturing Mikala & Tim's fun, true love.

We started out at Port Bean, a quaint coffee shop in the Old Port. Tim has an intimate knowledge of coffee and the couple enjoys their caffeinated beverages:)

Mikala's staple look:)

The beautiful couple and their beautiful eyes!

Ever since I've known Mikala, she's been an avid writer (and talented to say the least!). She brought her note pad along with a few surprise notes for Tim.

After the cafe, we explored the Old Port waterfront. Both enjoy the Maine outdoors.

Cute feet shots of the couple 'head over heels" for each other

We turned our head and Tim was in the globe - ha!

Mikala & Tim having fun

...Love their big smiles!

Aw!

...Wasn't joking about the fun:)

Adore these black and white shots!

Thanks Mikala & Tim for being a blast to work with. Amazing time capturing the Little things that make you the happy Mr & Mrs. to be. It's an honor to be a part of your love story!

L.L. Bean Baby

Most of you know I'm mildly obsessed with L.L. Bean. Love the quality of their clothes and how well they treat their employees. Loving L.L. Bean is the epitome of being a true Mainah:) I recently read in a  magazine that Maine has more than just the 3 "L's" to offer - Lighthouses, Lobster, and LL BEAN.

My adorable nephew is less than a year old and already experienced his first bean boots. Here are some shots of Austin, working it for the camera in his awesome new rain boots.

"Yeah, I'm a stud."

"Sitting down is lame. These boots are made for walking."

"Checking out my sweet boots."

"I'm kind of a big deal" [points then brushes off his shoulder]

Hope you enjoyed my post. Email cherishingthelittle@gmail.com if you'd like me to capture your next adventure, party, event, engagement shoot, portrait, etc.

Clamming in Maine

Clamming in Maine? Why not?! My Aunt and Uncle asked us to join them at low tide to dig for clams- something I had never done. Pumped, I bundled up... and prepared the camera. I mean really...
Family + Sunset + Ocean + Something Wicked Maine = Great Photo Opportunity
Hello, Atlantic Ocean!
